Description

WR 134 is a variable Wolf-Rayet star of the type WN6, which is located about 6,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. It is surrounded by a faint bubble nebula that is created by the intense radiation and the stellar wind. It has five times the radius of the sun, but due to a temperature of over 63,000K it is approx. 400,000 times as bright as the sun and will probably end in a supernova explosion.

The seeing was unfortunately extremely bad. As a result, the measurement is a little less accurate this time, but it still worked halfway. The pronounced Helium emission lines are clear. The bubble nebula is a dim overlay from another image just for orientation.
